SRINAGAR, Oct 16: The match between Kashmir Maharaja FC and J&K Bank Academy ended in 1-1 draw, while match between Real Kashmir (R) & Downtown Hero’s FC and J&K SPDC XI & Novelty FC ended with goalless draw in the ongoing Khyber Milk Premier Football League-2021, being played at Synthetic Turf TRC, here today.
The 1st match of the day was played between Real Kashmir (R) and Downtown Hero’s FC. Both teams started with an aggressive note but the teams failed to secure any goal till the final whistle and the match ended with a goalless draw. Neeraj of Real Kashmir FC was declared as Man of the Match.
The 2nd match of the Premier Division was played between Kashmir Maharaja FC & J&K Bank Academy. As the play started the forward lines of both the teams failed to breach the defence lines of each other in the first half, while in the 2nd half J&K Bank made some brilliant moves and Huzaif Shafi made no mistake scoring a goal.
In the 75th minute of the 2nd half, the referee awarded a penalty against Bank Academy and players of Maharaja FC made no mistake to convert it into goal and the match remained 1-1 draw. Owais Ayoub of Bank Academy was declared as Man of the Match.
The 3rd match between J&K SPDC XI & Novelty Football Club also ended with goalless draw, wherein Alok Chohan of Novelty FC was adjudged as Man of the Match award.
