KARGIL, Feb 27: A district level sports meet “1999 Kargil War Heroes Memorial Archery” tournament concluded today at Khree Sultan Cho Sports Stadium here.
The Archery tournament was organised by Social and Education Welfare Society (SEWS) in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Kargil. The Social and Education Welfare Society has been organising the tournament every year since the year 2002 to pay tribute to the Kargil Heroes.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil was the chief guest of the valedictory function.
Thirty two teams from all over the district participated in the event while huge public of the area also witnessed the matches enthusiastically.
