Kanav’s hat-trick helps MHAC Nagbani lift U-19 boys mini football title

JAMMU, Dec 6: Kanav scored a brilliant hat-trick and helped MHAC School Nagbani to thrash Oriental Academy by three goals to nil (3-0) to lift the Under-19 boys mini football title at Jammu University of Jammu, here today.
The Championship was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Mini Football Association in collaboration with Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu to search talent.
DBN Amarvilla bagged third place in the Championship.
In all, 20 teams participated in the Championship.
Prof Dhian Singh Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education was the chief guest, while Romesh Sharma was the guest of honour.
Other dignitaries present in the programme were P D Singh, Jai Bharat, Gagan and Dr Sonam Angchok.
Dr Brij Baloria, general secretary of the Association presented welcome address.
Prof Bhau distributed the prizes, trophies and cash prize among the winners, runners-up and third place winners on the occasion.
He lauded the efforts of the Association in channelising the energies of the young generation towards the right path to help them not to derail from the mainstream.
