JAMMU, Jan 31: To pick the State team for National Kabaddi Championship to be held at Kolkatta from February 15 to February 18, 2019, Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association, will hold the selection trials in boys and girls sections from February 5 to February 7, 2019 at Green Field Ground, Gandhi Nagar, here.
The eligibility criteria for boys and girls section- ‘Boys age 20 years and below 70 kg weight and girls age 20 years and below 65 kg weight.’
According to a handout issued here, the players desirous to take part in the trials have been advised to bring with them four passport size photographs and photo copy of Aadhar Card for their age verification. “Only those players will be allowed to take part in the selection trials who are registered with Kabaddi Federation of India”, said Surinder Mohan Gupta, General Secretary, J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association.
