SAMBA, July 26: Samba District Gurj under-19 Kabaddi Championship got underway at Samba Brigade, here today.
A total of nine Kabaddi teams of all Blocks of Samba district and one team each of Army Public School and Kendriya Vidyalaya are participating in the Championship.
Brig Anil Raman, Commander, Samba Brigade, inaugurated the event in an impressive and well attended opening ceremony.
This event is being organised by the Army under Operation Sadbhavna to provide a platform to the youth of Samba district to showcase their skill and talent.
