JAMMU, Aug 21: President of J& K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Anil Kumar Gupta Gupta has informed the State Kabaddi players to register themselves with the J& K Amateur Kabaddi Association as per the decision of Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India.
He said that those players of the State who will not register with J& K Amateur Kabaddi Association will not be allowed to participate in the Nationals.
The eligibility of the players for Senior National Kabaddi Championship is that the maximum weight for men is 80 kg and for women 70 kg, while for Junior National events the maximum weight and age for boys is below 65 kgs and age below 20 years and girls below 60 kgs and age below 20 years and for participation in Sub-Junior National, the maximum weight and age for boys are below 50 kgs and age below 16 years and girls below 50 kgs and age below 16 years.
Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, general secretary J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association said that all State Kabaddi players will be registered before September 30, 2015.
