LEH, Sept 28: Principal District and Sessions Judge, R S Jasrotia, who is also the Chairman, District Legal Service Authority (DLSA), Leh donated track suits among the jail inmates, which were sponsored by Beig Constructions.
Justice Jasrotia distributed track suits during his monthly visit to District Jail Leh today. He was accompanied by Secretary, DLSA, Spalzes Wangmo.
ADC Leh Dr Zahida Bano, ASP Leh Suresh Kumar Chib, Superintendent Jail Rigzin Nurboo and President Bar Association Leh Lasu Shafi were also present on the occasion.
Justice Jasrotia also interacted with the prisoners and gave a patient hearing to their grievances. He informed them about their rights and facilities under legal aid services and gave assurance to process their court cases regularly and solve them at the earliest possible.
He urged them to practice meditation, read books and enhance their talent in art and painting activities to keep themselves occupied.
