JAMMU, Mar 2: The Wrestling Association of J&K will organize the Junior (U-20) UT Wrestling Championship 2026 at the University of Jammu on March 7. The championship will be held in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu, under the auspices of the Wrestling Federation of India, J&K Sports Council and the J&K Olympic Association.
As per handout issued the winners of each weight category will represent J&K in the U-20 National Wrestling Championship scheduled to be held at Durg, Chhattisgarh, from April 10 to 12, 2026. All competitors born between 2006 and 2008 are eligible to participate. Those born in 2009 may also participate subject to submission of a medical and parental consent certificate. Participants must report at 8 am at the venue along with photocopies of their Aadhaar card and birth certificate.
