JAMMU, Sept 28: Jammu District Amateur Kabaddi Association in collaboration with J&K Kabaddi Players Co-op, Society Ltd Jammu and Unique Public Higher Secondary School Gadigarh Jammu organized Junior District Kabaddi Championship for Boys and Girls, which got underway at Unique Public Higher Secondary School Gardi Garh, near here today.
The Championship was inaugurated by chief guest, Dr Javed Ahmed Khatib, joint secretary J&K State Board of School Education, while Anil Gupta, president, J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association and Kapil Sharma, Joint Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation and Businessman Nicodemes were present on the occasion.
The Inaugural function was presided over by S Jasbir Singh, Chairman, Unique Public Higherer Secondary School and Rajesh Verma, Assistant Secretary, J&K State Board of School Education in the presence of Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, general secretary of the Association.
Ashok Kumar, Secretary, Udhampur District Kabaddi Association has been appointed as observer by the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association.
