JAMMU, Dec 31: After screening by J&K State Sports Council, a team of 17 members including 14 players and 3 officials will leave tomorrow for participation in the Senior National Judo Championship which will be held at Vishakapatnam from January 3 to 7.
The selected judokas are Virbhadra Singh, Mridul Kerni, Mohd Fazil Shah, Farhat Gulzar, Danish Sharma, Basit Rafiq, Shubam Kerni, Shahla Illiyas, Yashika Jamwal, Nandni Sharma, Kabra Altaf, Shweta Thakur, Yasmeen Nazir, Hadia Anwar and Vikas Dogra.
Riktika Slathia will accompany the team as coach and Sajan Sharma as Manager.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr Ashutosh Sharma, Secretary JKOA, Abdul Qayoom CSO, Ravi Singh DSO of J&K State Sports Council, Vikas Gupta general secretary J&K Judo Association, Suraj Sharma and Manish Chatwal of J&K Judo Assocoation.
