JAMMU, Dec 11: Judo Association of J&K elected its new office bearers for the term of four years in its annual general body meeting, held at Amar Singh Club, here wherein Sureshet Dutt and Vikas Gupta were elected as president and senior vice president respectively.
Shiv Kumar and Abdul Hamid Khan were nominated as vice presidents, while Suraj Sharma as honorary general secretary and Rohit Gupta and Gowhar Khan were nominated as joint secretaries, besides Manish Chatwal has been elected as honorary treasurer and Nirmolic Singh, Ravinder Singh, Sunil Mahajan, Fahmeeda Sartaz, Sunil Sharma, Jyoti Chowdhary and Ravi Salgotra were nominated as executive members of the Association.
The AGM also nominated Dr Ashutosh Sharma as life member and right to vote always, while RC Thakur as patron, Vijay Saraf as chairman, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal as working president, Varinder Dogra as CEO, Raj Kumar as associate secretary, Rameshwar Singh Jamwal as resident secretary, Anil Khajuria as associate vice president and Saleem Bandey, Vinod Bhatia and Sahil Sharma as organizing secretaries.
Vikas Gupta has been appointed as chairman selection committee, while Bhanu Partap, Danish Sharma, Mohd Mushtaq, Sahil Dogra, Rohit Gupta and Rameshwar Singh Jamwal were nominated as vice chairpersons, besides Seema Karyal and Sahil Raina were appointed as members of doping committee, while Dr Sandeep Singh has been nominated as chairman medical commission and Rajan Sharma and Sharat Chander were nominated as chairman and vice chairman of national events.
Moreover, Sarwant Singh Gill and Gul-e-Surkhab were appointed as chairman and vice chairman of the legal committee respectively.
