JAMMU, June 12: The University of Jammu achieved yet another milestone with Tashi, a student of Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu figuring in the select list of Indian Universities Taekwondo (M&W) teams for World University Games 2019 scheduled to be held from July 3 to July 14, 2019 at Napoli in Italy.
Prof Manoj Dhar Vice Chancellor University of Jammu congratulated Tashi, hoping he will give his best to the sport and bring laurels for the country, the state and the University.
Prof Dhar also congratulated Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education for this achievement.
A coaching camp of the selected players for the participation in the World University Games 2019 is scheduled to be held from June 16 to 28, 2019.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr Vinay Thusoo, Incharge Media Cell and Sanjeev.
