JAMMU, Nov 11: The men and women shooting team of University of Jammu left to participate in the All India Inter-University Shooting (Men and Women) Championship to be organized by the Manav Rachna University Faridabad from tomorrow to November 15.
The team comprises eight men and women shooters namely Vanshaj Sambyal, Abhay Gupta, Sandeep Singh, Nippun Singh, Kavya Kharbanda, Shurati Sharma, Rupali Katal and Rashmi Verma. Tarun Dev Singh Jamwal is accompanying the University Team as Coach-cum-Manager.
Prior to the departure of the team for the Inter-University Championship, sports kits were awarded to the shooters by Dr Daud Iqbal Baba Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu in an introductory meeting, who also wish the shooters a successful participation in the Championship.
PD Singh was also present on the occasion.
