JAMMU, Oct 29: Seven members shooting team of Jammu University left to participate in the All India Inter University Shooting Championship, which will commence at Punjab University Chandigarh from October 31 to November 5.
The team is accompanied by Tarun Dev Singh Jamwal, Manager.
The team will participate in two events—10m Air Rifle and 10m Air Pistol.
In 10m Air Rifle, Abhilove Gupta, Sudheer Parihar, Kavya Kharbanda, Rashmi Verma and Richa Sharma will participate, whereas in 10m Air Pistol, Abhay Gupta and Sangram Singh Jamwal will exhibit their talent.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu flagged off the team and wished them to show their good performance during the said competition.
