JAMMU, Nov 10: Jammu University (JU) outplayed Media-XI Cricket Club Jammu by 29 runs in a friendly match played at varsity ground, here today.
Batting first, JU made 145 runs by losing 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Rajesh played a splendid inning of 51 runs, while Deepak, Sandeep and Aman chipped in 26, 19 and 16 runs respectively.
From Media-XI, Rahul Khatri and Vivek Suri scalped two wickets each.
In reply, Media-XI failed to chase the target and bundled out at 117 runs by losing all the wickets in 19.2 overs. Sachin was the top scorer with 39 runs, while Ritesh scored 25 runs.
