JAMMU, Oct 13: University of Jammu Volleyball (Men) team marked its opening win in the North Zone Inter-University Volleyball (Men) Tournament, organized by Punjabi University, Patiala at Dhashmesh Khalsa College, Zirakpur.
Earlier University of Jammu outplayed Greater Noida University by straight 3-0 sets with set score 25-15, 25-19 and 25-16. Abneet Sharma, Sourav Sharma and Parteek Singh Chib played outstanding from University of Jammu.
Prof. Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu lauded the efforts of the team and especially Coach, Shafqit Hussain Shah, Assistant PTI, Govt. Degree College, Thanamandi) and wished the same in further matches.
