JU emerges as Group Winner at National Youth Parliament competition

JAMMU, July 18: The Youth Parliament Team of University of Jammu has once again emerged as one of the 7 teams in the country, which shall participate in 15th National Level Youth Competition.
The University of Jammu had stood first in its group contest, which was organized in the month of October 2018. The Youth Parliament programme is organized under the aegis of Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Govt of India, to strengthen the roots of democracy, to inculcate the habit of discipline and to enable the student community to understand the working of our Parliamentary institution.
The students from various departments of the University, including Oshin Bakshi, Sidharth Jamwal, Nitika Singh, Megha Rani, Shikha Jamwal, Romika Thakur ,Parul Sharma, Arti Devi, Jatan Singh Gill, Niti Salgotra, Aksdhay Kumar, Sheikh Tanzeel Ilaahi, Satwinder Singh, Shyam Kumar, Ramneek Sharma, Vishal Sardhalia, Sifia Habib, Taniya Razak,Ridha Zainab, Madeema Malik,Rajat Sharma,Raghav Chowdhary, Tavleen Kaur, Ankita Bhatt, Shazia Bano, Farhaana Lateef, Kajal Pathania, Vishaali Dhawan, Kamalpreet Singh, Dheeraj, Pranav Sharma, Abhishek Chopra, Tauqeer Haidar, Manik Bansotra, Anmol Gupta, Misba Ateeq, Rameshwar Singh, Rahul Aggarwal, Maanik Bhaedwaj, Poonam Langar, Raghav Jandial, Mudit Mahajan, Sunny Singh Rajput, Arshwardhak Katoch, Krishan Dinkar Sharma, Ashish Sharma, Rohit Charbathia, Vishal Sharma, Vishnu Dutta, Harshain Upadhyay , Priyanka Sharma, Abhaydeep Singh, Supriya , Pratyaksh Purnoor, Sanchit Gupta, Sehar Chawdhary and Nikhar Jandyal shall participate in the National Competition to be held on 5th September 2019.
