JP World School excels in inter-school sports meet

JAMMU, May 7: JP World School brought laurels to the institution with outstanding performances in various inter-school sports and cultural events organised at the school campus. Competing against participants from more than 10 reputed schools and among over 500 students, the school emerged as a top performer in several competitions.
The prize distribution ceremony was held at Abhinav Theatre in the presence of chief guest DIG, Jammu Shridhar Patil, who appreciated the dedication, discipline and sportsmanship displayed by the students. He emphasized that participation in sports and cultural activities plays a vital role in building confidence, leadership qualities and a healthy society.
In the Open Dance Competition, the school secured five gold medals, two silver medals and two bronze medals. In the Cricket Championship, the U-17 team finished runner-up, while the U-12 team emerged winner and also secured runner-up position in another category. In the Volleyball Championship, JP World School won both the women’s and men’s titles. In the Badminton Championship, students won eight gold medals and four silver medals.
Principal Aparana Kohli congratulated the winners and participants, stating that the achievements reflected the hard work of students and the dedicated efforts of teachers, coaches and parents. The management also appreciated students, organisers and parents for making the event successful.
