JAMMU, Oct 27: Seventeen Jampians along with their CCA Coordinator, Nandani Bakshi, visited UAE on a weeklong educational tour and excursion.
Students and staff visited almost all tourist destinations of Dubai. All the students and staff appreciated the arrangements made by the school management.
The students who were a part of the trip included Naman Chandhoke, Ashmita Sahni, Arya Abrol, Saiyam Suri, Abhaas Verma, Kshitij Sethi, Gursimar Singh, Aadarsh Manhas, Aakarsh Manhas, Dapinder Singh, Stuti Kuthiala, Sayam Gupta, Hasit Singh Sachdeva, Sabi Singh Suden, Maulik Jain, Navisha Gupta and Mehul Yadav.
Principal, Trilok Singh Bist met the Administrator of Springdale School, Dubai and had good exchange of ideas as to how individual attention can improve the caliber of the students.
He also had discussion with Maneesh Mangal of Al Noor International School Bahrain for an exchange programme. The artificial Island, the Palm Beach Island, which was created within 2004 to 2011, was again an experience of its own kind for the staff and students.
Dhow Cruise was another excellent experience wherein a cultural exchange took place between our students and the Crew Members.
The delicious dinner at Dhow Cruise with the Arabian Dance mesmerized each one on the Cruise. At the Aqua venture, kids took rides which were very much exciting and had made even the staff relive their childhood days. The ultimate was the Desert Safari and the Quart Bikes and the Buggies drive and proved to be a lifetime experience.
The Tanoura Dance and the Belly Dance at the Desert Safari Camp site with the Barbeque mesmerized each one and all came back with a lot of learning and experience.
During the tour, the students got the opportunity to see the beautiful landmarks, amazing architecture of Deira Tower, Burj Khalifa, Aqua Venture, Jumeirah Public Beach, Jumeirah Mosque, underground Dubai Museum housed in Al-Afridi-Fort, Textile Markets, dazzling gold jewellery of Gold Souq, Dhow Cruise, Desert Safari and the other major attractions of Dubai City.
