Jodhamal Public School to take on KV-1 in jr boys final

JAMMU, Oct 9: Defeating their rivals convincingly in their respective semifinals, Jodhamal School and KV No-1 sealed berth in the finals and will lock horns against each other in the summit clash of the ongoing4th 11 Sports Interschool Championships, being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Table Tennis Association at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
Jodhamal defeated KC international by 3-1 in the first semifinal, while KV-No 1 got the better of APS Domana in another semifinal.
Earlier, in Sub Jr Girls Team semifinals, DPS beat Heritage 3-1, Presentation Convent defeated GD Goenka 3-1, while in Sub Jr Girls Team Final, DPS drubbed Presentation Convent 3-1.
In Sub Jr Boys Team semifinal, Jodhamal defeated GD Goenka 3-1 and KC International drubbed DPS 3-1, while in Jr Girls Team semifinal, GD Goenka trounced their rival 3-2.
In Jr Girls Team Final, GD Goenka prevailed over Delhi Public School 3-1, while in Jr Boys Team semifinal, Jodhamal Public School got the better of KC International 3-0 and KV No-1 defeated APS Domana 3-0.
Prominent among those who were present included Satbir Singh, Rajan Sharma, IP Singh, Satish Gupta, Ajay Sharma, Vasu Dewan, Sandeep Khadotra, Narinder Singh, Sheetal Gandotra and Sanjeev Gupta.
The matches were officiated by Vasu Dewan, Sandeep Khadotra (NIS Table Tennis coach), Gurvinder Singh Sasan (NIS Coach), Meenu Rajesh, Asad Sharma (Coach), Manandeep Singh, Ritvik Gupta, Ketan and Anuj.
