JAMMU, Aug 27:       Jodhamal Public School is all set to ignite and sensitize the young and old of Jammu towards their Save River Tawi Campaign, here.
Children from JMPS School have enthusiastically prepared couple of street plays to enlighten the society of the importance of rivers.
They proudly staged ‘Destiny’ and ‘River Tawi’ at Wave Mall and other destinations of Jammu today.
Two groups of Jodhamal Kids under the guidance of their teachers Priyanka Singh, Nandini Bakshi and Vandana Jain performed street plays at a number of places this evening.
The junior kids of Jodhamal brought out the importance of water in our lives by transporting the audience to the 2050 and 2075 and anticipating the problems to be faced by the future generation due to wasteful consumption of water.
They gave a message of saving every drop of water and ensured that River Tawi, the life line of Jammu is taken care of properly.
The street plays were so captivating that anybody who passed by was forced to stop and have a look and appreciate the initiative of the Jodhamal School children.
School appreciated the Police Department and the media fraternity for their support in giving the voice of the students a momentum to invite other Schools to join this movement.
