Jodhamal hosts Spic Macay Pichwai painting workshop

JAMMU, Oct 11: Jodhamal Public School hosted Spic Macay Anubhav 3.0 Pichwai virtual Painting workshop in which around 100 students participated with great fervour and enthusiasm.
The Spic Macay- a nationwide, non-political, voluntary people’s movement has been striving tirelessly for the past 44 years with “Nishkam Seva Bhavna” to enrich the lives and education of youth by raising awareness and preserving various aspects of our cultural heritage and motivating young minds to imbibe the values contained therein.
The workshop was conducted by Kalyan Mal, a world renowned Pichwai painting artist having more than 45 years of experience and had conducted workshops at various prestigious national and international platforms.
Coordinator Jammu region, Seema Rohmetra and Chairperson J&K UT Dr Sapna Sangra appreciated the lead taken by the School in acting as the host Institution and providing space to other participating educational institutions of the Jammu region.
Nandan Kuthiala, trustee and School Principal Dr Deep Kharre appreciated the students for their unfettering urge to learn and their enthusiastic participation in Spic Macay Anubhav 3.0 series.
