JAMMU, Sept 20: The J&K Under-19 women cricket team today left for Odisha to participate in the upcoming cricket tournament at Bhubaneswar in Odisha from September 28.
Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association Sub Committee members with Advisory Committee team gave send off to the team and wished them good luck. The first match will be played against Sikkim at Railway Stadium Bhubaneswar from September 28.
Cricket Advisory Committee Member, Rupali Slathia advised them to play the game wholeheartedly by following the COVID protocols.
While interacting with players, the BCCI appointed Sub Committee Member, Sunil Sethi motivated the girls and also highlighted that the team has been selected in a fair and transparent manner on merits basis. He told them to stay focussed and play with positivity to earn name to the Union Territory.
