CHANDIGARH, Nov 11: Defeating Kavya Sawhney of Uttar Pradesh by (6-3) in the summit clash, ace tennis player Prinkle Singh of Jammu and Kashmir won the twin title in All India AITA Super Series at Chandigarh Lawn Tennis association Court, today.
After leading by (2-0) earlier Prinkle mde it (5-3) in her favour, before the 9th game was bagged by Kavya to win the title clash by (6-3).
Earlier, in the semifinals, Prinkle defeated R Choudhary of Odisha by (64, 6-2).
In the first, second and third round matches, Prinkle defeated Konika Singh of Chandigarh, Lagan Bidan of Haryana and Harleen Kour respectively.
Prinkle has won doubles title in this event also.
