JAMMU, June 21: International Taekwondo player and official, Atul Pangotra of Jammu and Kashmir has been nominated in the list of 50 officials for the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo Japan.
Earlier, Atul, who serves with Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), underwent a selection camp wherein 150 such qualified referees from world over participated under the banner of World Taekwondo at Moscow in Russia.
Finally, 50 referees were shortlisted and finalised for the mega event next year, a handout issued by the J&K Taekwondo Association here today informed.
Meanwhile, the State Association and the Taekwondo Federation of India complimented Atul for the achievement.
