RAMBAN, Nov 8: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) Ramban organized Cricket Tournament under Civic Action Plan in Ramban and inaugural match was held at Banihal near here today.
The Tournament was inaugurated by Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ramban, Mushtaq Chowdhary.
The inaugural match was played between Victoria Club Banihal and Ramban Warriors.
Mr Choudhary exhorted youths of Banihal to actively participate in sports and avoid drugs.
He said that the tournament is being organized to come closer to the youths of Ramban district, adding that Kabbadi, Football tournaments are being organized at different locations in district Ramban.
Meanwhile, in continuation to the strengthening of relation between police and public a meeting was held at police station Batote which was chaired by DySP Hqrs Ramban Imtiaz Ahmed while Naib Tehsildar Batote Saifullah,SHO Batote Vijay Choudhary, IC PP Patnitop SI Sandeep Charak, president Seerat Comittee, president Beopar Mandal Batote, transporter business class respectable and others attended the meeting.
