JAMMU, Oct 8: Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association (JKCA) conducted trials for 22nd Road Cycling Championship at MA Stadium today.
In Indian made category, Parwez Ahmed and Mohammad Saleem of Budgam bagged first and second positions respectively, while in Foreign made category, Mohammad Adil of Budgam, Waheed Ahmed , Mansoor Ahmed of Budgam and Adil Ahmed of Baramulla bagged first, second, third and fourth positions respectively.
In Junior category, Aakershait of Jammu and Amir Farooq Ganie of Budgam secured first and second positions respectively, whereas in Sub Junior category, Mohammad Ismail of Budgam, Mashooq Maqbool of Baramulla and Basharat Ahad bagged first, second and third positions respectively and in Sub Junior category, Muzaffar of Budgam and Harsh Singh of Samba clinched first and second positions respectively.
President J&K Cycling Association Ravinder Singh wished the selected players for national event. Sarwant Singh, General Secretary J&K Cycling Association, Om Parakash Sharma, Associate Secretary J&K Cycling Association, Ravi Salgotra Treasurer J&K Cycling Association, Vikesh Kumar Executive Member J&K Cycling Association. Ajay Kumar Cycling Coach and Karan Digpal were also present on the occasion.
