J&K wins 7 medals in Para National Archery C’ship

JAMMU, Mar 4: Jammu and Kashmir State Archery team won 7 medals in the 3rd Para Recurve National Archery Championship being held at Sports Authority of India (SAI) Rohtak, Haryana from March 2 to March 5, 2019.
Jyoti won one gold and one silver, Rakesh bagged one silver and one bronze, Nisha Devi clinched 2 bronze and Tariq claimed one silver medal in the Championship.
Ace archers Jyoti, Nisha and Rakesh have been selected for World Archery Ranking Tournament to be held at Dubai in next month.
These archers have been practicing at SMVDSB under the guidance of Archery coach Mr Kuldeep.
The office bearers of the Jammu and Kashmir Archery Association lauded the efforts of the archers for this achievement.
