J&K wins 24 medals in kick boxing Nationals

JAMMU, Dec 23: Jammu and Kashmir State kick boxing team won 24 medals with 2 gold, 9 silver and 13 bronze in the Cadet and Senior National Kick Boxing Championship held at Faridabad in Haryana recently.
A contingent of 79 players participated in the Championship, which was accompanied by Lalit Singh and Rajinder Singh as managers and Charan Singh Slathia as coach, while Danish Padha accompanied the team as technical head and national referee.
The State team returned today and was warmly welcomed by the office bearers of the Association including general secretary Abhikesh Jain and vice president Varun Magotra, who lauded the efforts of the players for this achievement.
