JAMMU, Mar 10: J&K Tug-of-War team brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by winning bronze medal in 33rd Senior Women National Tug-of-War Championship, organised at Goverdhan Stadium, Agra, from March 6 to 8.
The J&K team beat Rajasthan by 2-1 set and clinched bronze medals in the said championship.
Vasvi Gupta, Arti Billoria, Sumira Gani, Gitanjali Sharma, Suman Balla, Suraya Rashid, Shamsun Nisa, Amrita Sani, Hamia Gull & Sameena Rashid were among the team who brought laurels to J&K UT.
The winning team was accompanied by Kiran Kumari (coach) and Sourabh Dubey (manager).
Hardeep Singh Anand president of the Association and others office bearers wished them best of luck for their future endeavours.
