JAMMU, July 22: Jammu and Kashmir today qualified for the semifinals after their last league tie victory against Madhya Pradesh in the ongoing National Korfball Championship, organised by J&K Korfball Association on University of Jammu campus, here.
In the semifinal J&K will take on Uttar Pradesh.
Other two qualifying teams are Haryana and Rajasthan and shall be playing in the second semifinal. The semifinals have been scheduled for tomorrow from 8.30 am. The final is scheduled be held at 6 pm in the evening.
Earlier, in the last league tie, J&K defeated Madhya Pradesh 07-04 and registered a fine 10-05 win against Himachal Pradesh.
