JAMMU, July 22: Chak Murar clinched the Rural Tournament trophy after they registered narrow one-wicket win against Patyari XI in the final played at Jakh Dalyeni in Bishnah area of district Samba.
As per the reports reaching here, Patyari XI bowled out cheaply for 67 runs. In reply, Chak Murar chased the total for the loss of nine wickets.
Maxi was named man of the match while Deepak Sadotra was declared as bets fielder.
The winning team was awarded with Rs 5100 cash prize and the title trophy. In the valedictory function, Sarpanch and Panches of Dalyeni Jakh presented the title trophy and cash prize.
In total, 16 teams from Bishnah Tehsil took part in this tournament.
