JAMMU, Sept 22: Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Kyorugi and Poomsae junior teams of boys and girls left for Ludhiana to participate in the 36th Junior National Taekwondo Kyorugi and Poomsae Championship, which commenced at Guru Gobind Sports Complex Multipurpose Hall, Ludhiana from today to September 25.
Chairman J&K Taekwondo Association, Anil Gupta, President PC Sharma, General Secretary DN Pangotra, office bearers of the JKTA wished young teams a grand success in the Championship.
The boys team players are Aryan Gupta, Kuljeet, Amandeep, Aftab Hussain, Narayan Sharma, Tarun Sharma, Pushapkant Sharma, Gourav Dubey, Rajveer, Tushar, Pankaj Kumar, Ram Paul, Shiv Sharma and Mohit Thakur.
The girls team players are Mansi Dubey, Shilpa, Zainab Banoo, Afreen Hyder, Vanika Gupta, Agrima Sharma, Ravleen Kour and Stuti Raina.
The teams will be accompanied by Anil Khajuria and Rohit Sharma as coach and assistant coach respectively, while Sanjay Kumar will be the manager.
The technical official for the National Championship are Rajat Thakur and Narinder Sharma.
It is to mention that, last year J&K team comprising boys and girls was Champion in Junior Team Poomsae.
