JAMMU, Dec 29: 2-day long 5th J&K Rope Skipping Championship concluded at Kotli Bhawan, Rehari Colony, here.
320 students drawn from various districts took part in the championship.
Dr SM Bali, Joint Secretary Indian Olympic Association (IOA) was the chief guest on the valedictory function, while Arun Khanna was the guest of honour.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Subhash Sharma, Rajesh Gupta, Suresh Kumar and Danish Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Bali appreciated the organizers for holding the event and threw light on the importance of sports and games.
Tarsem Sharma, Executive President of J&K Rope Skipping Association presented vote of thanks.
