JAMMU, Feb 19: J&K State Boxing Championship 2017-18, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Boxing Association concluded at MA Stadium, here today.
The Championship was organized under the overall supervision of Rajan Sharma, General Secretary of the Association.
The gold medal winners in various weight categories included Stanzin Angmo, Priyanka Devi, Heena Choudhary, Anju Bala, Rajni Kumari, Stanzin Youtok, Jasveer Singh, Zulfikar Ali, Irfan Ali, M Hassan, Rizwan Sajjad, Sultan Farooq, Sadiq Ali, Bharat Singh, Shah Farhan, Prajwal Jamwal, Vijay Bhaskarn, Abhay Raina, Yogesh Sharma, Niamul Hassan, Nisar Hussain, Suhail Ahmed, Akash, M Arif, Aakash Sharma, Anil Kumar, Hardesh Singh, Vinod Bharadwaj, Anil Chib, M Ishtiaq, Ankush Kumar, Nikhil Bharat and Sarfaraz Choudhary.
The winners were felicitated by the chief guest and other dignitaries on the occasion.
Boxing Coach of J&K State Sports Council, Anil Wadhera was also honoured by the dignitaries for his outstanding achievements in the field of Boxing on the occasion.
