JAMMU, Feb 8: J&K Sports Power lifting Association organized UT level Sub-Junior, Junior and Master Bench-Press, Dead Lift and Power Lifting (equipped and unequipped) Championship.
On the occasion, SHO Police Station Janipur Inspector Nayat Ali was the chief guest, who distributed the medals among the winners.
Ipul Singh lifted the title of Power-man in Power lifting and Bench-Press categories.
Meenu Kalotra lifted the title of Power-woman in Power-Lifting and Shikha lifted title of Power-women in Bench-Press.
In Power Lifting (Men), the gold medals were clinched by Vinod Mahajan (equipped), Vinod Mahajan (unequipped), Aditya, Sparsh, Shubam Kalotra (equipped), Tarun Sharma, Bhawan, Kartik Sharma, Jatin Anand, Ipul Singh, Abhi Salotra, Sourav Bral, Adraj, Saransh Bhat, Rahul Bhan, Nitish Rajput, Ravi Kumar, Jaswinder Singh, Gulshan Kumar, Pranav Mahajan And Aryan.
The silver medals were won by Ibran Ansari, Mohit Dalotra, Karan, Sajan Sharma, Mohammad Masoom, Ali Haider, Koushik and Bhanudev Singh.
In Bench-Press (Men), the gold medals were clinched by Aditya, Ayush Kumar, Pawan, Ibran Ansari, Aditya, Arjun Singh, Abhinav Singh, Rakesh, Pardeep, Shubam, Rajeev, Saransh, Sahil, Nitish, Sameer, Ajay Sharma, Hemant, Aftab Ahmed, Subash Thakur, Rakesh, Mohit and Saksham.
The silver medals were bagged by Sandeep Hans, Shubam and Ashok.
In Dead Lift (Men), the gold medals were bagged by Vinod Mahajan, Sumit Thakyal, Gurpreet Gill, Mubashir, Aditya, Mayor, Danish, Aman Singh, Mohit Manhas, Saksham, Nikhil, Ayush Gupta, Pratham, Sidhant Kumar, Uttam, Vikas, Sahil, Arya Sharma, Nitish, Raman Mandla, Saksham, Karamjeet Singh and Shubham Choudhary.
The silver medals were won by Qamer Hussain, Navdeep, Sunil Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Naresh Singh, Munish Kumar, Sahil Pannu, Pawan Kumar Yadav, Arjun, Rinku, William, Aditya, Saimon and Rohit Mandla, whereas the bronze medals were clinched by Ravi Mehra, Shubam, Ankit Kumar and Sourav Kumar.
In Power-Lifting (Woman), the gold medals were clinched by Meenu Kalotra, Samaya, Adeela, Riya Charak and Ankita.
In Dead-Lift and Bench-Press (Women), the gold medals winners are Khushi, Eeshita, Riya Charak, Gagandeep Kour and Shikha.
The team has been selected by the association on merit basis in the presence of Rajan Jain General Secretary and officials including Irfan Qadri, Narinder Singh, Bhanu Dev Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Iqbal Singh and Prince.
