JAMMU, Feb 8: In the ongoing J&K Premier Football League being played at GGM Science College ground here, two matches were played as per the fixture.
In the first match, Vijay Club defeated Param Football Club by a solitary goal which was scored by Parth. In the second match, Hero Football Club defeated NGR Club by five goals to nil. Both the matches were played well with end to end attacks.
Today’s matches were witnessed by Ramesh Chander, ex International Footballer and former vice president JKFA, who was the chief guest on the occasion. Ranjeet Singh, Ex International Footballer and Chief Coach J&K Police Football Team and another ex-International Player Amar Deep Singh, Rajesh Sumberia former National Player, Harbans Lal ex-Player, Kamaljeet ex-I-League player and Yousuf Don Secretary DFA Jammu were also present.
The matches were officiated by Dheeraj Meenia, Satnam Singh, Aman Sudan and Madav Sharma.
The first of its kind Premier League is going in full swing and players are enjoying the most. This will be for the first time that all district teams are competing together and will get equal chance to win the League and claim the champions’ title.
The Premier League is being played in 4 major games and is being organised by J&K Sports Council in collaboration with respective associations.
