JAMMU, Jan 2: Jammu and Kashmir Speedball team won overall trophy in 5th North India Speedball Championship at New Delhi, recently.
About 300 students from 11 States of the Country participated in the event.
32 members team from J&K participated in the event under the supervision of Sunny Nanda.
Delhi got the second place and Haryana claimed third spot.
The team won 5 gold, 12 silver and 9 bronze medals in the Championship.
Those who clinched gold medal in their respective categories included Raghunandan Singh, Ashutosh Singh, Suryansh Rabogtra, Ajay Singh, Aryan Kangotra, while the silver medal winners included Lakshaydeep Jamwal, Akarshan Rasyal, Krish Sharma, Mansi Slathia, Anmol Ghai, Pallav Sharma, Vikas Sharma, Aarav Sharma, Shubam Puri, Rhea Tikku, Kunal Sharma and Fiza Choudhary and the bronze medal winners were Irfan Amhed Khan, Anish Sharma, Saksham Talwar, Aryaman Sharma, Rohini Saihi, Basu Cheetri and Kunal Kohli.
