JAMMU, Mar 19: J&K Sports Power Lifting Association organized a State (M&W) Bench-Press and Federation Cup Powerlifting Championship earlier at RKM Gym, Upper Gummat, Kanji House here and selected State team (M&W) for participation in the upcoming National Bench-Press and Federation Cup Powerlifting Championship to be held at Riat in Himachal Pradesh from March 27 to March 31.
According to a handout issued here the team has been selected by the Association on merit basis in the presence of Rajan Jain, general secretary, Narinder Singh Manhas, secretary and Inderpal Singh, media secretary.
The selected players included Vikramjeet Singh, Tarun Dev Singh, Narender Pal Singh, Saksham, Akash Deep Singh, Sandeep, Surmeet Kour Soni,Achint Kour, Sonu Singh, Feroz Khan, Sandeep Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Vijay Choudhary, Shivam Gupta and Manoj Singh, while Rajan Jain will accompany the team alongwith the officials.
