J&K Police to organise North Zone Sports Festival

SRINAGAR, Sept 10: Jammu and Kashmir Police is organising a North Zone Sports Festival-2013 in various Districts, of North Range Baramulla Kashmir including Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora, Handwara and Sopore. The competitions in Cricket T-20, Hockey, Badminton, Table Tennis, Football, Handball, Volleyball, Athletics, Kabbadi, Wrestling, Kho Kho (men and women), Rural Sports (weight lifting), Carom, Chess, Painting Competition (below 18 years), Quiz competition (below 14 years) and Group Action Song will be part of this festival.
All registered teams in these disciplines will participate subject to their past performance and conduct. Any sports person having proficiency in any of the athletics event is free to participate.
The entries of the teams, clubs should reach the office of DIG Police NKR Baramulla within a week’s time from the issuance of this notice along with a fee of Rs 25  for team events. No entry fee is required for individual event. No entry will be entertained after expiry of stipulated time.
