JKFA Annual League Football Tournament

SRINAGAR, July 8: In the ongoing State Annual League Football tournament five matches were played at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground, here.
In the Premier Division match played between J&K Police XI and State Football Academy (SFA), both the teams played aggressive football.
In the 10th minute of the first half, Nanjot Singh converted a free kick directly in the goal, while in the 25th minute of the 1st half, J&K Police missed an open net chance. The first-half ended (1-0) in favour of J&K Police. The 2nd half of the match was dominated by young boys of SFA, who penetrated the defence line of J&K Police, many a time, but could not find the nets.
The match ended with J&K Police defeating SFA XI by a solitary goal.
Earlier, the 1st match of Senior Division, Qamarwari FC defeated SFA Blues by one goal to nil (1-0). In the second match of Senior Division Radpora FC defeated Young Mohammedan FC by four goals to nil (4-0), while in third match of Super Division played between Jehlum FC and Young Maharaja Club, Jehlum FC won by 2-0 goals.
The fourth match of Super Division, Real Kashmir Under-18 team defeated Hyderya FC by two goals to nil (2-0).
The tournament is being organized by District Football Association Srinagar, Medical Partner Rahim Green and Football Sponsor Sports International (VECTOR).
