JAMMU, Mar 29: Jammu and Kashmir Fencers showed remarkable performance in the 25th Sub-Junior National Fencing Championship held at Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh) from March 25 to 28 in which fencers from across the country participated.
Antalya Jamwal clinched a silver medal in the girls’ Sabre Individual event, showcasing her prowess and determination on the fencing strip. In addition to Antalya’s achievement, the Jammu and Kashmir contingent also secured medals in team events. The boys’ Sabre team event saw a bronze medal victory, with the team consisting of Dev Karan, Harnidh Singh, Vansh Raina and Vinayak Sharma showcased their collective strength and strategic prowess.
Similarly, the girls’ Sabre Team Event witnessed another bronze medal triumph for the J&K team. Antalya Jamwal, along with teammates Sabrena Choudhary, Eknoor Kour and Shrija Bali, displayed exceptional teamwork and skill to secure a podium finish in the team event.
