JAMMU, Aug 10: Handball Federation of India has nominated three officials from Jammu and Kashmir to be part of the Indian Handball squad for 18th Asian Games to be held at Jakarta in Indonesia from August 18 to September 2, 2018.
Narinder Mahajan, Vice President Handball Federation of India has been appointed as the Technical Officer of Indian Men’s Handball Team, while former Handball skipper of India and National selector, SSP Ranjeet Singh Chib will be the observer for the Asian Games and Ashwani Kumar Raina, General Secretary J&K Handball Association has been appointed as the Manager of Indian Handball team.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ranjeet has the distinction of emerging star performer while representing country and the State as well, while Narinder and Ashwani have the reputation of being the organizers to almost a perfection.
