JAMMU, June 11: A 15-days Summer Camp (Oasis) 2014 organized by JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School got underway in the School premises, today.
Children were given ample activities which included painting, dance, music, bun and beans (cooking), personality development, spoken English, swimming (splash pool), table manners and training for calligraphy.
The objective of the camp is to augment togetherness and nurture the best in each child with indoctrination of conscientious concern.
In Oasis Camp children will continue to learn and grow as individuals.
Lavishing praise on the objectives of the Camp, the organizers said, “Children have to be educational, but they have to be left to educate themselves. This percept is being best exploited in JKMS School, Jammu, where every year, hundreds of students with their teachers enjoy the Summer Camp through learning by doing process.
