JAMMU, Nov 30: J&K UT junior boy’s team lifted the National Championship at Jammu while girl team finished runners-up in 31st Junior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship held at Jammu.
J&K boys and UP girls emerged as national champions while J&K girls & Goa boys finished runners up respectively. The 31st Junior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship culminated today at University Ground Jammu and Indoor Sports complex Bhagwati Nagar here.
After winning the toss, J& K boys decided to bat first. They set a target of 64 runs against Goa, but Goa failed to chase the target against the quality bowling of J&K. Main performers from J&K were Musharaf who scored 48 runs and Muheeb scored 12 runs.
