J&K Gymnastics Asso to hold trials for National C’ship

JAMMU, Aug 28: The Gymnastics Association of Jammu & Kashmir, in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council, is set to conduct a trial and screening on August 30 at 4 pm in Gymnastics Hall, MA Stadium, Jammu. The purpose of the trial is to identify and select talented gymnasts across all age groups from the Union Territory to represent J&K in the upcoming Aerobic Gymnastics National Championship 2025-26, scheduled to be held from September 8 to 10 in Kochi, Ernakulam, Kerala.
Aspiring participants must carry a copy of their Aadhar Card and two recent passport-sized photographs. On arrival, they are required to report to Mitali (Coach) and Ravinder Singh (Coordinator) for registration and further instructions.
This trial follows a gymnastics training camp earlier announced on August 18. Two officials from the Gymnastics Association of J&K- Rajan Sharma, Chairman of the Activity Committee and Tejinder Singh, Associate Secretary – will oversee the trials as official observers.
The prestigious Aerobic Gymnastics National Championship is being hosted by the Gymnastics Association of Kerala under the aegis of the Gymnastics Federation of India. Gymnasts from various states and Union Territories across India are expected to participate in this national-level event.
