J&K gives strong reply to Jharkhand as Henan Nazir blossoms

JAMMU, Dec 13: Jammu and Kashmir gave a strong reply to formidable Jharkhand as talented Henan Nazir scored magnificent 171 runs off 281 balls, studded with 27 boundaries and one six in the ongoing Col CK Nayudu Under-23 Trophy at Keenan Stadium, Jamshedpur, today.
Sahil Lotra also played a brilliant innings of 56 runs off 86 balls including 8 crispy fours.
Jammu and Kashmir were comfortably placed at 367/6 in 118 overs on day-3 of the 4-day match at stumps today.
Mohsin Dar was unbeaten on 45 runs while Sunil Kumar was at the crease at 20 when the stumps were drawn. From Jharkhand, Bal Krishna and SM Tripathi took 2 wickets each.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Jharkhand had scored 380 runs in 113.5 overs in their first innings. V Vishal top scored with 129 runs, while Rahil Reyaz Khan and Aryaman Sen contributed 49 and 36 runs to the total respectively.
From J&K, Tehzeem Tak took 3 wickets, while Sunil Kumar and Lone Nazir Muzzafar claimed 2 wickets each.
