JAMMU, Aug 31: Jammu and Kashmir emerged champion in the 500 Mixed and Men Race events of the ongoing 3rd National Dragon Boat Race Championship, being organized by the Dragon Boat Association of J&K at Nehru Park, here.
In 500 Mtrs Race Mixed (Men & Women), J&K team bagged first position by finishing the race in 2.36.074, while MP and Punjab got second and third positions with the timings of 2.45.036 and 2.55.843. Delhi and Bihar stood at number four and five respectively, taking 2.56.269 and 3.05.900.
Meanwhile, in 500 Mtrs Race Men, J&K, Indian Navy and J&K Police claimed first, second and third position by finishing the race in 2.30.052, 2.36.052, 2.42.027 respectively, while Karnataka, Punjab and MP secured 4th , 5th and 6th positions respectively.
