JAMMU, Jan 3: J&K Choi Kwang Do Association team comprising of three girls and six boys clinched one silver and eight bronze medals in the 14th National Choi Kwang Do Championship 2017 held at Mathura in Uttar Pradesh.
The event was organized by Choi Kwang Do Association of Uttar Pradesh under the aegis of Choi Kwang Do Federation of India, recognized by School Games Federation of India (SGFI) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Indian Olympic Association.
650 players from across the country, participated in the event.
The Choi Kwang Do J&K Team was led by S. Sukhbir Singh, Team Manager and Aruna Sharma team Coach.
The medal winners included Avneet Kour, who won silver medal in under-14 years girls Air shield event; Pardhiman Khajuria, who won bronze medal in boys Air shield event; Ishaant Gupta, who won bronze medal in boys Air shield event; Vasu Dasgotra, who claimed bronze medal in boys Air shield event, Razaq Ahmed, who bagged bronze medal in boys Air shield event; Honey Sharma, who claimed bronze medal in boys Air shield event; Mayank Mahajan who clinched bronze medal in boys Air shield event; Anisha Devi, who won bronze medal in girls Air shield event and Palak who got bronze medal in girls Air shield event.
