JAMMU, Mar 14: The selected State team of All J&K Powerlifting Association today left for Ranchi to participate in National Bench Press Championship to be held from March 16 to March 18, 2018.
Before the final selection, the team underwent screening test held by the Screening Committee of J&K State Sports Council including Shiv Kumar Sharma, Ravi Singh, Satish Gupta, Rashid Choudhary and Inderpal Singh.
The team: Men: Sawan, Aditya, Sandeep, Shiv Charan, Mushraf, Sajan, Vikrant, Narinder Pal Singh, Vikramdeep, Amandeep, Adil Ashraf Khan, Gourav, Raman Kumar and Vijay Sharma.
Women: Radha Kumari, Anjana Devi, Monika Sharma, Simran Bumrah and Khushi Wadera.
Ajay Sharma, General Secretary of the Association and Jasbir Singh will accompany the team as manager and coach respectively.
